After three and a half years, I’m closing the Stargate and shutting down the Puddle Jumper.
It’s been a great time, getting to know other fans from around the world, but the time requirements are just too prohibitive to carry on.
So long, and thanks for all the hits!
As a special treat for you all, and to make up for the downtime of late, there’s a whole new section “SG1 Images” for the official high-res promotional shots from the series.
I’ve already uploaded a bunch of Season 9 shots of Daniel Jackson and Teal’c. If you have any promo shots that you’d be willing to share with the Jumper community, I’d love to hear from you.
The nice people at Memset are moving me to a better, greener, datacentre, so there’s some downtime coming:
“The server has been scheduled for maintenance on Wednesday 5th March. We intend to start at 22:00, so your server will go offline some time between then and midnight. We expect the downtime to be 3-6 hours, however please be prepared for up to eight hours in case of unforseen eventualities.”
I’ve finally got around to doing something about the site’s “backend”, the Jumper is now running on WordPress with the NextGen gallery plugin.
This means you can now subscribe to our RSS feed and be automatically updated when new wallpapers are added. There’s going to be a lot on new goodies coming very soon, so it just might be worth your while :-)

I’ve been ill for the last six months with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, and it has stopped me doing lots of things that I’d like to (including new papers and site updates).
